Silca Mattone saddle bag with BOA closure system. With the Mattone Grande, Silca has created a “bigger brick” with 77cm3 of internal volume, more than double the volume of the original Mattone. The Mattone Grande is capable of holding up to 3 road inner tubes along with 2 CO2 cartridges, 2 tyre levers and a multi-tool. It can also easily hold up to two 29×2.5 MTB inner tubes along with CO2, levers and multi-tool. The Mattone Grande is ideal for those long adventure rides or races where you need to be prepared for anything.

Just like the original Mattone, a high friction Hypalon strap with BOA clasp completes the package. With more than 15 times the power of Velcro, the BOA Closure uses a ratchet mechanism that will not drag or loosen even under the most extreme vibration and impact. This ensures that the Mattone Grande will stay “high and tight” under your saddle until you need to access it… no rocking, swaying or rattling… ever.
